Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Blastak uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the service, measure usage and, only with your consent, measure our advertising campaigns.

Effective date: 2026-07-19 · Version: 2026-07-19

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device to enable certain website features, maintain a session or measure technical usage.

2. How Blastak uses cookies

Blastak uses the following categories:

  • Necessary: maintain authentication, language and your consent choice.
  • Attribution: retain the first campaign source (UTM, landing page and referrer) for 30 days after marketing consent.
  • Product measurement: after analytics consent, PostHog retains a pseudonymous identifier to connect journeys across pages, tabs and visits. In the admin area, clicks may be collected with all text and attributes masked.
  • Advertising: Meta Pixel may create the _fbp and _fbc cookies to measure registration from a campaign.

3. Third-party services

Blastak uses PostHog Cloud EU for consented product analytics. Form entries, names, phone numbers, messages, notes and private links are not sent to PostHog. Visual sessions are limited to allowed admin routes, with all text and fields masked; customer, private, staff and operator routes are excluded. Meta Pixel and the Conversions API are enabled only after separate marketing consent. The Conversions API then receives a deduplicated registration event; the owner's email and phone number are normalised and hashed before transmission.

4. Managing cookies

The Blastak banner offers product measurement and advertising measurement separately, with "Accept all", "Reject all" and "Customise" options. The choice is stored for 180 days in blastak_cookie_consent and shared across Blastak subdomains. You can reset it by deleting Blastak site data in your browser. Refusing optional uses does not prevent you from using the product.
